About Us

It all begins with a dream.

Over a year ago, we had the desire to return as a family to our hospitality roots - wanting something we could do as a family that would bring us a little more purpose. Operating a motel has always been dear to us, we take great pride in providing that home away from home. 

So, we moved to Saugatuck / Douglas on February 1st and haven’t looked back or stopped moving since. We enjoy the constant steadiness. We started with a few updates which we will share along the way. 

Settling into the Starlite Resort & Blue Star Motel feels like coming home for us, and we hope all of you feel that way when you visit.
