Our Policies
We try to be fair and understanding with each of our policies. These are in place so that each of our guests can enjoy themselves when they stay at the Starlite Resort
Booking Policies
All reservations require a first night deposit. Both online and phone reservations require the same amount. The outstanding balance will be charged to your card on arrival.
Please understand that our rooms are not massive, and we do not have a way to accommodate rollaways in any room types. Any additional guests need to be notified to the hotel and each room has a max occupancy. If you exceed the max occupancy we have a right to ask you to leave with no refund and/or charge an additional per guest fee.
Cancellation Policies
Due to the small size of our hotel and the short tourist season, we are greatly affected by changes and cancellations. We must firmly adhere to our cancellation policy. If the booking is cancelled before 9:00 PM, 7 day(s) before check-in it is free of charge, less than 7 day(s) before check in the charge is the total of the first night room and tax.
Same-day cancellations, no-shows, and early departures are responsible for 100% of the total booking charge.
Check In Policies
Our normal check in time is 3pm - 10pm.
Our lobby is typically closed 10am - 3pm. We have a very small staff and this allows time for us to run errands, cleaning, etc.
If you want to check in early, we will try our best to accommodate you. This depends on guests checking out and the cleaning schedule.
If you plan to arrive after 10pm, please let us know. We will leave the light on for you and send you our after hour instructions to access your room.
Room Charges & Damages
When you book with us, we do require a credit card to be kept on file in our system to cover any room charges and damages. Any damage to furniture, linens, and other property will be accessed and then billed to the customer at our replacement cost, which may include labor costs. We will be transparent in our communication with you regarding damage to the room. Please keep in mind, this may include a smoking fee as all our rooms are non-smoking.
Pet Policies
As fellow pet owners, we love traveling with our furry friends as well. We just ask that you are responsible for your pet and respectful of our other guests. Here are a few rules to ensure that:
Dogs are welcome and a $25 per pet, per visit will be applied to your invoice. Please let us know in advance.
A maximum of TWO dogs per room
Dogs must be leashed and under control at all times. Any unruly pets will be asked to leave. This includes excessive barking, damage to the property, and aggressive behaviors.
We expect guests to clean up after their pets and properly dispose of any wastes.
Pets are not to be left unattended in the rooms.
Pets are not allowed in the Pool Area
Pool Area Rules
The Pool Area is open from 10am - 10pm
No Lifeguard is on duty so use caution when using the pool
Children under 14 must be accompanied with an adult.
No glass, food, smoking or pets are allowed in the pool area.
Hotel guests only, no additional guests
For the Hot Tub, Pregnant Women, Elderly and Persons with Medical Conditions should consult with a doctor before use.
Property Rules
No smoking in any of the rooms or the pool area. If you would like to smoke, please do so outside. Ashtrays are located throughout the property.
Quiet hours are from 10pm - 8am. We ask that you keep noise to a minimum. If we have to repeatedly ask you to quiet down, we will then ask you to leave the property and no refund will be given.
Pool closes at 10pm.
Seasonal Amenities
We do have a few seasonal amenities based on occupancy, please make note of when you are booking your room, our hot tub is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. As of the fall of 2024, the continental breakfast is discontinued.
